This is the first of three articles I’m writing to highlight a few different areas in optics, particularly the optics of laser technology. While it is a very exciting new technology, it is not without its pitfalls. The main problem with lasers is that they tend to be very bright at the end of their wavelengths. This is because of the way the light interacts with matter, and the way the matter interacts with the light.

So when you have a laser, you are essentially using a very bright light source with an extremely small amount of material to make it. The result is that the material becomes very hot and you end up with a very intense light source. This can be a problem if you want to laser cut glass, for example.

With lasers, there are two kinds of problems that you can have. The first is the output power. High output power means that you have a much higher output of light per unit of time.
